A lot of times game dev is hard. Sometimes adding features is not satisfying at all. Other times, you just decide to add that the vehicle's parts explode everywhere and its just sooooo satisfying. Makes all that effort worthwhile.
People don't know but I used to have a Teepublic store with a lot of gaming/Nintendo designs. Now, Nintendo has DMCA'd most of thembut I still have some non-Nintendo IPs. There's Pyramid Head, Hollow Knight, Raziel from Soul Reaver and of course, my own game. There's a sale currently so go nuts!

Its been a while but I'm still working on my game! A lot of personal stuff has happened in the past year and its been tough to get into it but I'm slowly getting back into it! Here's a new vehicle I'm working on!
Finally knocked Banjo-Kazooie out of my list of unfinished games! When I was a teen, I always had to return the cartridge by the time I got to Rusty Bucket Bay or Click Clock Wood. Started playing with my 5yo son. I guess its cheating with the NSO save states but I dont mind.
Just finished Turok 3 for the first time. Turok were some of my fave games on N64 but my dad had sold my 64 by the time this came out. Great job NightDive for the remaster. Not sure what the original was going for though. Its nowhere near as fun/polished as 1 or 2 (my fave) and a 4 hours run time?
Just finished the Star Wars Dark Forces Remaster. Such a great job by NightDive on this old classic I played back in high school. Still fun. I never was much of a Star Wars guys but this era (n64/ps1) games stood out to me. On to my next game. Another NightDive remaster, can you guess which one?
Just finished Resident Evil Revelations 2 starring my fave female RE protag, Claire! Didnt know what to expect and had a lot of fun. Preferred this one to the first Revelations. And that's all the RE games I had on my switch. I think I'll play an old FPS remastered recently, can you guess which one?
Just finished Resident Evil: Revelations (Switch)! ... And I have issues with this one. I know its impressive for a 3DS game but its kind of all over the place? The gameplay was generally fun (except dodging never really works) but some parts of the game annoyed me AF. Now, on to Revelations 2!
So just finished the controversial one. Resident Evil 6. I skipped on that one originally. Unpopular opinion: I preferred this one to RE5. Its not a good horror game. But it commits to what it is and it plays great. A little too long for me as I prefer my games around 8-10 hours but still had fun.
Just finished Resident Evil 5 feat. everyone's favorite bland boy Chris! I remember liking this back then but this time, the game left me exhausted with all the waves of enemies. Its such a mess everywhere and feels like it doesnt want to commit to anything. Anyways, on to the next one!

Just finished Resident Evil 4 (the Original!) for the first time! Wait what? I started the game on PS2 back then and stopped at Chapter 4 and never came back for some reason. Still a very fun game although some sections are frustrating and switching weapons gets annoying. On to the next RE!
Just finished my second playthrough, first in 20 years now. Even though RE2 is my favorite Resident Evil, RE 1 holds a very special place for me as I played a lot of it in high school and all the ps1 versions. Reliving the remake.. still an amazingly fun game. Now, on to another RE on my switch!
Just came back from watching the movie with the kids and wife. Had so much. I dont care what the critics said about a movie for kids. I was entertained. That's all I care for. My wife chuckled a lot too and she was only going for us. The french (canadian?) version is really good. Also, Fox ๐
Just finished up my second playthrough of Resident Evil Zero, 23 years after the last time I played it. Deeply flawed, and nothing I can add to the myriad of problems that everyone mentions. The train is definitely the highlight of the game. Still had more fun than I remembered!
Just finished Escape From Ever After. If you like Paper Mario style games, this is a great game to play. Smart puzzles, fun story. However I felt the timings on button presses in battle where sometimes off a little? Its a somewhat easy game so it didnt matter as much. Still had a lot of fun :)
Mischief Motors has hit 150+ wishlists. Its not much, but its a lot more than I ever wished for. I've had a few personal bad lucks during the development of this but its slowly getting back on track. I'm currently reworking the physics to work appropriately. Will share more news soon!
I'm currently finishing up Legends ZA and this was such a grind to get through. I'm only doing it to get those rare Event Pokemon in the DLC. Lots of busy and grindy work. Game Dev Lesson learned: in-battle cutscenes are annoying. Interrupts flow, gives CPU an advantage, and should be skippable.
150 wishlists. Its not a lot. But its a lot more than I ever wished for. I know its been a while coming and I've had 2 curve balls from life that took out about 14 months in 2024 and 2025..... as a solo dev, that's hard to manage. I've slowly started getting going again and I,m hopeful for this year
Wait. A new Legacy of kain game in 2026?? I am a big fan of the lore of that series and especially the mecanics of Soul Reaver (Which gives me ideas for a game). This one is 2D but I'll take it. If it means getting more games to end the story later!
