Shoutout to this year's Winter Workshop on Complex Systems organizers! And to all the participants as well! Such a fun and inspiring mix of researchers I got to meet there. 🤓

One thing I do in my literature reading behavior is adopt a Reviewer #2 mindset and try my best to destroy whatever paper I read. helps me a lot in understanding. But also brings out some very dark parts of my personality I wish weren't there... 🫠😅

Being aware that I will never be able to fully grasp all the stunning stuff that is out there feels very exhausting and humbling for me. Yet, at the same time, it is exactly this that gives science and philosophy this bitter-sweet taste that I adore so much!

happy to announce that after days of almost ridiculous energy and motivation for drafting a new paper, I have finally reached a stagnating plateau and my brain is just fried 🧠🍟 let's see how it goes today ...

Read of the day: "Lessons for experimental philosophy from the rise and “fall” of neurophilosophy" (Bickle, 2017). I'm no experimental philosopher. I read it more or less by coincidence, as it sparked my NeuroSci interest. Very insightful and entertaining paper! www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1...

Finally online: "Explanatory power by vagueness. Challenges to the strong prior hypothesis on hallucinations exemplified by the Charles-Bonnet-Syndrome" was quite a journey to develop it... and I'm super excited that it's finally published 🙌 doi.org/10.1016/j.co...
