FRED FLÂNE

French electronic music flâneur. I compose music like I'm wandering somewhere.

I'm working on a new track and a new video about the sea and the waves. Unfortunately, the weather was not good during filming. A cloudy sky and a completely grey sea! Sometimes, when strolling, surprise isn't always just around the corner! :)

After a walk, I sometimes pause and contemplate my surroundings for a few moments. My gaze always drifts towards the sky. I watch the passing clouds, marveling at them, and drift into a world of dreams. "Céleste" isn't just a song dedicated to the clouds; it's primarily dedicated to reverie.

Night falls. The sky is adorned with its most beautiful shades of gold, orange, and purple. The streets and bridges light up. The lights are reflected in the Seine. The Eiffel Tower sparkles. The atmosphere becomes almost magical. The perfect place for a night owl like me.

Recently, I visited the Front de Seine district in Paris, where several high-rise buildings are concentrated. These buildings are all notable for their diverse architectural styles. I thought it would be a good opportunity to make a new video that will perfectly illustrates what a "flâneur" is...

I enjoy strolling through the streets of a big city, but I also love wandering in nature, whether walking along a forest path or contemplating the landscapes from a hill. "Nature" is a track dedicated to the beauty of nature. This nature that soothes the mind and calls for escape.

I attach great importance to the pictures that I choose as cover art for my tracks. But for some of them, I plan to make some little videos. There will be no visual effects, no AI, nothing like that. Just simples videos that will perfectly illustrate my music.

"Escapade" is the first track released under my new project FRED FLÂNE. This track evokes the desire I sometimes have to escape the habits of daily life, to flee worries and recharge my batteries somewhere.

I'm a musical "flâneur". And a flâneur after all! I build my sounds on my synthesizers as I walk down the street. I compose with no purpose, for pleasure. I get my ideas from the sounds I create. I let myself be carried away by inspiration, without knowing which direction to take.
