Last week I went on an Oak hunt to the Westcoast of Scotland. Absolutely amazing landscape and some beautiful Atlantic Oakwoods. So excited to come back for sampling in the framework of my PhD.

Very grateful to be part of the @iapetusdtp.bsky.social cohort 2024 at @uniofstandrews.bsky.social. In my PhD I will explore the response of oak growth to climate change and disturbance in Scotland.
