Malakai is born in Ishgard. Well, his relationship with his homeland is complicated, you see. He doesn’t hate Ishgard, but I wouldn’t say he looks back on it with fondness either. This was the place that shaped him into who he is, but it’s also where burdens and expectations were placed upon him.

Finally completed Dawntrail’s MSQ! Interphos was such a wild ride LOL The chaos and mechanics were a great experience! Huge thanks to Daura ( @daura-xiv.bsky.social ) for running it with me! It was definitely a memorable way to close out this part of the journey! ❤️
