It was great to be in Maynooth this weekend for @frenchcolonial.bsky.social 2026. Got to hear from so many 17/18/19th century experts and also find out more about 15th century Ireland at Maynooth Castle (and beat the London heatwave for a while 🥵)
And it's a wrap. Thanks to all who came to Maynooth for FCHS. So many brilliant people helped make this happen. It was great to see old friends and make new ones, all while learning lots about the wide range of exciting research happening in our field. @frenchcolonial.bsky.social
