Bay Area friends: would you consider opening your home to these two cuddly cats? A friend found them behind a gas station. Their sibling, a black cat, got adopted, but it appears no one likes orange cats. They are being kept in a bathroom for the time being and need a home.

A friend of mine found these three kittens behind a Bay Area gas station. They are tame, vaccinated, and incredibly affectionate. Unfortunately, she's unable to keep them and I'm trying to find them a home. They are at risk of going to a shelter. Bay Area people, are you open to adopting?

spent the entire last week trying to twist my sleep cycle back to normal. last night I finally went to bed at midnight! ..but then slept for *14 hours* so now I'm right back where I started 😭

trying to work out which obscure combination of settings and layered configurations is causing a specific line break to happen in one project but not another when autoformatting in rider, while sleep deprived, is one of the worst experiences I've ever had I do not recommend it

My parents are away for a few days and they asked me to take care of their cats and I realized how much I missing having a cat on my own. Had cats my entire childhood.

So instead, we fit *tori* to each point, because tori (1) have efficient closed-form SDFs, (2) can locally approximate surfaces up to second order (spherical, ellipsoidal, saddle). In 2D, we'd use circles; in 3D, tori generalize circles to two curvature directions. [24/35]

part of why I don't like AI is bc it's so often the antithesis of caring for the little things, the appreciation of the mundane, of seeing beauty where others haven't yet been able to, and seeking genuine fundamental understanding all in the name of "get product faster" I find it so disheartening
