"Digital copies will be at retailers" but I don't see it lasting. The consumer going to the store to buy a download code is adding an extra step to the process that will drive people away. I can't see Playstation being happy to be undercut by stores either in the future. It's not a pretty future.
Death of discs on Playstation sucks. The Playstation store sucks. Physical game prices go down over time, but on Sony's own store they just sit at full price. If you don't buy during infrequent sale periods, you're getting ripped off. Now you get less choice and Playstation gets the profits.
One day I'll get my flowers as a performer. Until that day gotta keep at it.
The way profit maxxing corpo culture has invaded every form of art through algorithms pushing people into daily posting is really weighing on me lately. Efficiency and regularity of making "content" being prized above all else feels so grim, man.
