this being said, heres my final thoughts. if youre interested in the game, its worth it. if you hate the game as a halo purist, you are justified, and dont bother. the game is deservedly divisive, so i recommend it only to those who were already interested.

other than that, the game is incredible. like, i loved my time with it, and i do not regret binging it the past two days. ill probably stream my playthrough where i go looking for skulls after i finish A Hat in Time THIS WEEK. I PROMISE.

that latter bug, the warthog not turning with the camera despite other vehicles doing so made what would have been a frankly amazing and memorable warthog run miserable. the warthog run in this game would have been incredible, if not for this bug, and it soured the ending. a lot. more in 🧵

Halo: Campaign Evolved - 7.5/10 this game is good. really good. like, really really good. but its also bad. really bad. its more good than bad, but there are some absolutely unforgiveable bugs in the game, like keybinds resetting between play sessions and the warthog not turning with the camera.

im so hungy chat. foods getting tight for the next few days and we will get fed in a few days, but i gotta do my best to hold back

oh also this is the worst warthog in the entire series

Halo: Operation Meteorite - 8.5/10 im treating this as its own game, and for good reason. frankly, it should have been. not only was there no reason to tack this onto a CE remake, but this story and experience would have been better off as a full game its good, but barely has a conclusion.

okay. i just found an instant problem with Campaign Evolved. my keybinds reset between play sessions.

so initial thoughts on Campaign Evolved gunplay is really good. feels quite Halo, and sprint is such a minimal increase in speed that i feel nothing ignoring its existence, no loss in momentum but these prologue missions i mean theyre fun. theyre neat why are they here lol
