The Anywhere-on-earth (AOE) timezone is confusing. I'm pretty sure the 11:59 pm has passed some where on earth, does it imply that "11:59 pm has been passed AOE"? Or will it pass when 11:59 is passed all over the earth? My intuition is that it should be modeled as a fuzzy number but just a hunch

I had forgotten how consuming it is to learn a new software framework/library. I don't know if it worth anything in the era of AI agents, but I can say, it never was just about the end product anyway :-)

As of 18:45 UTC (10:15 PM local), traffic to Iran has stopped as the country has completely severed itself from the global internet.

Iran has almost completely disconnected itself from the global internet. Just after 16:30 UTC today, traffic volume into the country began plummeting. The country has been gripped by growing protests in recent days & the Iranian govt has been selectively blocking internet services. #IranProtests

Looking forward to find a time to follow this. But there is a question that jumps to my mind occasionally. Can we not have provided an interface for kernel extensibility that ran in userspace with good performance?
