thinking about the popularity of so many "redraw trends" and plagiarism of compositions by all sorts of artists (it comes up often for gposing but 2D artists do it too). i have to sum up my discomfort with it as follows: it's artists treating other artists the same way A/I treats art as data
ok are we at the point where we can post characters bloodied up without someone mentioning strawberry jam or do i still have to avoid that

i love oc-ifying canons but i personally consider oc-ifying it when like. you can just remove it from the canon entirely at its endpoint. but i also like it when people change canon to show us their ideal version of canon but its still ummistakably that story

ok after replaying 2.2 im thinking abt how much "doma came out of no where" and "why did we go to the far east in the ala mhigo expac" type of nonsense i have seen over the years and literally in arr they set up the doma and ala mhigo equivalency. what is anyone on about.
