Actually took last weekend off to rest (for once lol), I'm out of town this weekend and next weekend... Going through dumb animal building withdrawals.
Someday someone will invent a decent fabric marking tool, something that doesn't bleed, lasts for more than half of a project before running dry, doesn't need to be sharpened every 30 seconds, and doesn't require a 4 step routine to keep it semi-functional.

Got my order in from HowlFabrics and everything is perfect :3 Only took about a week longer than BigZ (which is totally fine processing time!) and my order is correct. Absolutely love how glossy and soft their seal fur is and I'm really looking forward to ordering more as soon as I can ❤️

Spandex is just the worst fabric ever to have to work with. The devil's fabric, designed to frustrate a person to tears any time it must be handled. A slippery sloppy mess that refuses to cooperate under any circumstances. 0/10.

I hope those load bearing followers know how much they mean to artists. Regulars, esp regular commenters that engage your work and story do not go without notice and are to be cherished. It's esp why I try to reply to let them know! (and why I wish I could keep track of any I've missed replying to )

Hey @bigzfabric.bsky.social! it feels like a big ask but is there any chance you have plans to stock knit backing beaver in more of the same colors as the longer shag furs? There doesn't seem to be many distributors who carry more than just a few colors and it's such nice fur to work with 🥺👉👈
Watching clients handle their fursuit heads is always super endearing because they'll be SO carefully and gently picking it up and carrying it like it's a fragile newborn baby Meanwhile I'm over here picking them up and moving them around holding them like this:
HowlFabrics has a whole bunch of pretty colors of seal fur and I couldn't help myself but to order some (they're usually good to work with so fingers crossed). Got plans for some cute dumb animals already~
