Big meeting at work. Snacked on a slice of watermelon someone brought. The auto-focusing camera in the meeting room decided my watermelon consumption was the main event and just zoomed in on me. I got through the whole thing before I looked up and saw what was happening. Everyone was watching. 😬
Do I know anyone who's a psychologist or psychiatrist? I have a really prickly situation I need to handle and I could use some outside input from a professional. Just need a few minutes of someone's time if anyone knows anyone I can bug?
Drove an hour into the mountains and found a new coffee spot. The only description I can think of is that it smells like cabin in here. Woody. Inviting and safe. The bagel sammich was good but they took the aioli as a personal challenge. Couldn’t taste anything else. Super messy. 7 out of 10.
Picked up a mulcher on FB. Ended up getting it for free cause it wouldn’t turn over. I gave the owner a few bucks anyway. It had a bunch of wood fibers wrapped around the flywheel. It works but its not amazing. Idk if these can be sharpened but it seems it needs it. It will work, but slow 🤷♂️
Enormous pile from trimming one single olive tree. I have 6 more to go. Idk what I’m even supposed to do with all of this. I guess I could rent a chipper…
Hey fur-experts….I think I fcked up. Need advice. The fur on this polar bear plush I washed is almost too fuzzy now, after being brushed. I used a slicker brush on it and now feels like a low pile felt almost.
Soup’s on. I have a couple of these stellar polar bear plushies that have been loved a lot over the years. You can see what they’re both supposed to look like 😬 Finally giving them a good wash.
I miss this dingus so much. Part of why I haven’t gotten another dog is because they’ll never stack up. And I know that’s the wrong mentality to have in pet ownership, but it’s true.
My speshal needs fiddle-leaf fig is finally growing more leaves. After I brought it home it went into shock and started dropping leaves. Glad to see its stabilized because I’m kind of over how sensitive it is. Idk how these things exist in the wild.
My mom’s roommate sends me this and says she thinks there’s a leak. This spot was there for a couple days. Now Im out here digging it up but the ground is dry. It’s not getting wetter or softer as I go down. I don’t even know if there’s a water line here. Im very confused.

After Saturday, I needed this Sunday. Last minute decision to ditch my chores and drive to Alice’s with the homies. Leg 1 was the 135i, which continues to be the best sports car ever. Leg 2 was the opposite: a sketchy but lovable Toyota van We hit the coast up, got sunburnt, then headed home. 👌

Finally saw Masters of the Universe and I gotta say it was excellent. It doesn't take itself too seriously, the story is great, the snark and dialogue are also great.
