DHL freight delivered a large package here that isn't ours. Tried to tell them. They have a frustrating AI assistant on the phone as the gatekeeper to humans now. Is it better than a simple menu system? Anyway, the human queue was also 92 people deep, so I gave up.

Adding more ethernet cables to the bench in the shop. I have a 100% success rate with this Klein Tools through-hole crimp tool so far after a couple of years of owning it, and recommend them.
PughForge: Dune 3 Edition, fresh off the Core One+ INDX. The PETG was pretty WETG but it came out OK with a little stringing.
Will try and stick something colourful on it later, either a HueForge or other multi-colour or complex thing.

I thought I might treat myself to a new @kangol.com flat cap. However their shipping costs are beyond extortionate. €85 euros for the hat, €47 in shipping and €33 in taxes for a grand total of €165 for an €85 hat. How about no.

Went to IKEA today, and they have de-personalised the restaurant and checkouts by removing most human staff from them. There were more security staff in the restaurant than restaurant staff, which is the opposite of welcoming.
Fixed an old standard / super 8 projector for someone today. New bulb and socket.

Got a @hf.co reachy mini. After a 3 month wait it has had about 20 mins run time and now it doesn't work properly. Think one of the servos is broken. Utter disappointment honestly.
It is strange how the largest IPO in history is based on a partly fantasy filing, released onto the US markets that are being manipulated by the white house on a very frequent basis. How can investors maintain confidence, when the game is now rigged and reason does not factor into investments?
I don't object to AI being disappeared per-se, but I do when it seems to be an unbalanced, vindictive political action.

Hobbling about I suppose this week after a 1cm wide and 2cm deep puncture wound to the foot - was a stick, had to pull it out - which obviously hurt a lot, but less than I thought and almost no blood at all.

The whole AI industry is missing is a performance/token metric when balanced with user salary and efficacy. Token maxing is the most idiotic thing to have been invented by AI leaders to date. Tokens are mostly indicative of cost and not the results you receive.
