Whenever I see four guys swimming in a lake, I just assume they're Slint. This has led to some awkward misunderstandings, but those German tourists were super nice about it and agreed to sign my copy of Spiderland anyway.

Hip hip hooray — today is publication day for my new book: my third with the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, translated by the wonderful Simona Klemenčič. It includes poems written during my ongoing Yale residency. P.S. New books in France, the US & Germany this autumn.
I think it's beautiful that Flea, Mike D, Kim Deal, and Steven Drozd are all releasing their very first solo albums in their 60s or late 50s.
