Interesting, because Fifth Avenue doesn’t exist anymore between Kedzie and Homan Avenues. But the old parcels are still there.

Chicago Telephone Company Kedzie Exchange building, built 1906 by Pond & Pond, later additions by Holabird & Roche. Converted to the Wilhelm K. Roentgen Elementary School from 1960s-1990s, and now serves as the Switching Station Artist Lofts, a 24-unit affordable live/work community for artists.
