Classic Namco arcade games and classic Ace Combat soundtracks can be played in the air base. Other Premium Ace Pass rewards will include additional skins and cosmetics for the Online lobbies. Other skins and cosmetics can be purchased in-game as well.

Tutorial is also accessible from online mode, and for those who want to practice or just fly together, there is also Military Training mode. Each Ace Pass Season will last approximately two months. Special aircraft will be purchaseable as DLC after the season ends.

#AceCombat 8's online mode, known as Ace Combat Online, will have its own progression and save data separate from the base game's campaign mode. There are two main game modes: Co-Op Assault (Infinity-style 4v4 PvE) and Co-Op Warfare (4v4 PvPvE).
