A sweet little painting for you all today. It’s called “Compare and Contrast” and measures in at 8x10”. It was supposed to be a quick two-hour painting, but the skin tones and shadows demanded additional attention. Available in my shop, at the time of this posting: gabriel-garbow-art.square.site

My friend Anthony was gracious enough to let me photograph him a few times for references. “The Choice Is Yours” from a few years ago is one of the resulting paintings. Measuring 14x22”, it is still available for purchase at the time of posting.
SOLD - This 11x14” beauty is called “Sour Times” though the model himself looks more contemplative than anything. I enjoyed painting this one. It began as a demo for a gathering and was finished later on. Contact me for your own painting or print.

Four stages of the 11x14” painting “Absent” from five(!) years ago. This was part of a series that definitely bears revisiting, depicting slightly odd domestic scenes, populated by a bunch of guys who look suspiciously similar to myself. As always, feel free to contact me with questions & requests.
