Sorry about last night. I was at a uniquely low point and on a bad combo of substances that tipped me over a breaking point. Looking into getting serious psych help. Probably won't be online for a while.

I know people are upset with my response, which is fine, but I kind of just wanted to make a cartoon, & it's ended up being way more trouble than it's worth. I really just can't keep my heart in this thing anymore. It's gotten too much bigger than me, & I probably shouldn't be the figurehead of it.
SPOILER ALERT!!! Episode 9 of Digital Circus ends with Jax and Pomni escaping the Circus, waking up in the abandoned C&A building, then driving in the dark in a mostly-silent 20 minute scene. Jax arrives home, looks at his house, and says “What year is this?” Pomni screams. Roll credits.
I like torturing people in a safe and controlled environment.
Knowing how many people and their families are lined up to watch the most miserable, experimental, "fuck it we ball" episode in the series is going to be interesting.
I think by the end of episode 9, Jax fans will still love him and Jax haters will still hate him.
If I ever make anything after tadc, it's all gonna be esoteric arthouse shit that appeals to nobody but me.

Theories and "expectations" have had a nasty impact on culture. They just set people up to get mad when the story the artist tells doesn't line up with whatever people imagined based off "patterns" that don't really mean anything. Wait for the end, enjoy the ride, and let a story be what it is.
If I see anyone harassing Goose over the direction she is taking her show and her characters, it is a block on sight. Disagree if you must, but try to understand her first rather than saying something mean. She is trying harder than you know to make something wonderful, and I believe in her.
