@gameaudiosymposium.bsky.social

The Game Audio Symposium examines the process and practice of creating audio for video games, bringing together industry practitioners, academics, & aspiring audio designers to inform, develop, & inspire the next generation. https://gameaudiosymposium.com

In keeping with our aims we strive to be an inclusive, accessible event that enables all individuals to attend & to have a great day. We welcome diversity. Pronouns will be indicated on conference badges, the building is fully wheelchair accessible, all toilets in the building are gender neutral...

One of the aims of the symposium, and part of the motivation behind it is “To develop the diversity of game audio personnel and to widen participation in the practice.” With this in mind we’d like to offer 10 free tickets to the event for underrepresented folks.
