I can’t talk about the game I’m working on too much right now, but one of the themes of the game is “love is never wasted” and I need to believe that now more than ever. No matter where love goes, it’s never pointless.

Got an hour to spare today or tomorrow? Leave some kind comments on things you enjoy. Tell a developer they're doing a great job, or let an artist know their work is incredible. It can make a big difference in someone's day, trust me.

I’ve been quietly working on a big game lately and I want to show it but it’s still too early. A friend of mine is helping me and I’m so excited to share about it. I feel like it’s a really unique concept with a nice retro feel.

I’ve been quietly reflecting since that last game jam. I noticed a LOT of people were upset they didn’t win or get featured, and I’m like… girl, it doesn’t matter. It’s a game jam, not a publishing deal. It’s nice to be recognized, but… make games because you want to, not to get noticed.

I need to level up my pixel art more. I might have to learn how to appropriately apply anti-aliasing and that’s always been something I felt was missing from the stuff I do.

"abandoned baseball diamond" is one of the early game biomes I've had planned for ages, so I was excited to test it out here. I haven't designed tall grass yet, but other than that I think the tileset is very much handling the job! #pixelart #gamedev
