The TTK in Marathon is way to low. Im not sure I can enjoy an extraction shooter where the only way you win a fight is to see the other person first. Especially in a big open map with the limited 90 degree angle view that an FPS offers. Wandering for 15 minutes to die in half second isnt fun.

Was really hoping HighGuard would end up being amazing as a spit in the face to the hate train. But after a few matches im just...uh, confused more than anything. Its like...4 slices of 4 different games and those slices do not speak to eachother at all. It's weird, and not the good kind.

Everyday I hope there is a Mewgenics key in my inbox, and every day I am sad. It's nice to be genuinely excited about a game that's coming soon. I'll be reviewing it either way, of course. And well, hey, some folks have been waiting a lot longer than me. It was technically announced 14 years ago.

Haven't been requesting a lot of review copies lately because I don't always like the time pressure. But I had to put in a request for Mewgenics because it's been hard to think about any other game since discovering it. Definitely a game I'm going to review either way.
