This morning Garda Commissioner Justin Kelly visited the DMR Control Centre at the NTCC – call sign ‘India Base’, where he was briefed by the management team on duty for the EU Presidency opening ceremony. The Commissioner also met members on duty at India Base, CFIC and SID, and the Control Room.

The EU Presidency will be the biggest policing and security operation in the history of the State. We will provide a professional policing and security service and extensive policing plans will be in place for each event to minimise disruption, while we will also maintain day-to-day policing.
