I read the news today, oh boy.

We're down visiting my mam at the moment and it was Weston Pride today. Went to great party in the park, with a such lovely atmosphere in the sunshine. Here's mam with an absolute star we met called David. He was on the local news this evening, for being fabulous.

Seeing as how every twat is going on about it, my major memory of the summer of '76 is going to the open air pool in Weston (later Bansky's Dismal Land). It was like human soup. There was a ladybird plague and everything floating in it - lolly sticks, fag ends, empty cans, etc. was covered in them.

Landlocked Blueskyers will be pleased to know, I've just been for a refreshing dip in the sea. It was very pleasant indeed, just the comfortable side of cool. I'm now like a new man.
