Colorado River flows are down 20% in this century compared to the previous century. Govt officials cannot keep warning us about potential shortages while continuing to approve new developments that rely on our shrinking supply. Growth decisions should reflect the current reality.

The Trump administration did away with the Fish & Wildlife Service fire crew that used to be stationed at this wildlife refuge. Hopefully the MAGAts in this predominantly Republican County will know who to blame for this failure (I doubt it, but we gotta have hope.)

Everyday Americans are picking up the bill while utility CEOs and their investors make record profits. Meanwhile there were over 13 million residential customer disconnections in 2024 due to unpaid bills. Keeping the lights on for everyday folks should take priority over profits and bonuses.

Drought in AZ has caused San Carlos Lake on the Gila River to dry up, with 100% fish kill. Downstream communities like Kearny are facing water shortages. A brutal reminder of how fragile our water situation is in the desert. Do we really need our precious water to be used for cooling data centers?
