BROTHERS UNDER THE CHIN (1924) Separated and switched at birth, twins meet while on the same ship, hating each other on sight. Six years before BRATS, Stan Laurel wore toddler clothing & fell down on over-sized sets but this time his partner wasn't Oliver Hardy, it was James Finlayson! #silentfilm📽️

NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS (1931). Very funny comedy of retaliation between a hungover stock broker who has a phone and the songwriter next door who doesn't. By the end, screen doors have been ripped off and every dish is broken. Edgar Kennedy, Arthur Housman and Franklin Pangborn are all hilarious. 📽️

ECHO OF A CURSE by R.R. Ryan. Her novels are mixed blessings, with plots and characters as weird, original and perverse as any in horror fiction but often written in the purple style of an 11-year-old. This is her only supernatural novel, with undead were-apes in one dungeon after another.💙📚 #horror

DICK TRACY MEETS GRUESOME (1947) with Ralph Byrd and Boris Karloff in the title roles. Even kind-hearted Boris must have felt insulted getting the name "Gruesome" when he's joined in the cast by Skelton Knaggs (#2). Briefly seen are Lex Barker (#3) & Jack Kelly, who isn't even in the imbd credits!📽️
