i want to play minecraft i think doodle late night. 4-22-26

sometimes i wonder if people even like playing minecraft anymore. a lot of the complaints i've seen have been solely that things are added that are "useless", that they don't serve the purpose of defeating the ender dragon, that they don't have progression or anything. that can be said about a lot of things, like andesite, like different wood types. like different biomes. like emeralds, for the most part. like fishing. like minecarts. like dying wool. in a game that celebrates creativity, is it so wrong to have something exist just to be decoration? is it so wrong to have setpieces exist to be fawned over? i will admit i play a lot of modded minecraft, but barely ever do i want to "finish" it. sure ill run through progression trees in mods and sure ill get really strong, but most of my time is spent decorating, designing, hell last time i played i spent valuable resources literally beautifying a village i lived in because i thought it was fun, spreading all of my little crafting spots throughout so i could pretend i lived somewhere where all of these buildings served that purpose already. part of gameplay is imagination and it kinda sucks seeing so many people treat it solely as progression and completing tasks. when you reach the top, there's nowhere else to go. so why not find the slowest way up and enjoy the time you spend here? im sure its a million times better than whatever the hell you plan to do after beating the ender dragon in under an hour.

eris threw an apple for the most beautiful at the wedding of peleus and thetis, something for people to fight over, something to ruin the couples' special day it's easy to start arguments. it's easy to be aggressive and mean it feels so much harder to keep hold of the apple creation date 1-30-26

a singer is positioned in front of a black hole, distorting a panel of bluish space around them. the singer is dressed formally but shadowed at all but the edges, with a shiny corona, and their features and body are pitch black with canine-like features. a true corona exits from where their mouth would be, spilling into a messy orange-yellow in front of them, wrapping around their hand and a microphone stylized like a satellite.

the alien Parasitella in a halloween costume. his colors are muted and a large scar goes over his right eye, and the crystal around him is the colors of rock candy, blush pink and baby blue. his left wrist and both ankles have shackles on them, and his sweatpants are shredded into shorts. in the (now round) crystals ending his "wings" are a devil shape and a skull shape. dangling around him and wrapped around a heart-shape in his torso are colorful red/yellow and green/orange gummy worms. above him is the name, Parasitella, and next to him is a small title, calling him "Mellified Man".

my robot man living his dream creation date 6-3-25

a large robot with vaguely draconic features is holding up a massive meteor on their shoulders in a large expanse of water. various cooling systems are overworked and spitting coolant, dripping down and releasing superheated steam. digital elements around the robot indicate "CRITICAL CORE TEMP", "1600F", and "EVACUATE AREA", while the robot stands and tries to keep the meteor aloft with an expression of panic.

a character design i am very proud of creation date 11-30-23

a robot, stylized like a beaked upper body, hangs from the ceiling on a bracket. its hands are sharp, and it looks angry, loose wires coiling out of the robot's spinal column. its one holographic eye has a scar over it, and out of its head are pointed ears like an animal. a large cloak it wears billows behind it dramatically, revealing a triangular symbol on the back. numerous monitors hanging behind it all have that matching scarred eye. behind it is its name - COGITO, in large block letters.

an odd creature stands hunched over against an abstract background. in lieu of a head, it has a swirling ball of darkness with greenish energy inside, held with thick dark roots to a triangular collar. the collar has arms connected to it, one arm holds a mask in front of the ball to provide it a face. under the collar sits a jacket with no sleeves, draped around a mass of roots that serve as legs. two arms are held in front of it, while another pokes low out of the jacket, holding an umbrella prepared to the side. the entire creature has a few bright yellow leaves poking out of it, growing from the wood its made of.

almost solid violet, a werewolf with bandaged arms rips a small voodoo doll in half. an indicator says that it has done a critical 34 damage to the doll. text in front of the image says "You... and everything that crushed me under their feet, built this wall between me and [missing text]... I'll shove you all in this bag... drag it to the deepest corners of inferno.... and pummel it, until my strength fails...!"
