DDD+TDD in small increments is how I get the most out of coding agents these days. I write the domain layer by hand (like an animal) and let the agent take care of the app and infra layers. I review, edit and make sure the domain layer is not touched by the agent
I like DDD and have been writing about it and promoting it to my teams for years now. Why does it feel like it’s becoming more popular recently?

I’m back to using AI chat instead of an agent, and maybe you should too It helps me do my work but I’m actually writing the code like a caveman It’s slower than using an agent, but it’s a lot more enjoyable, and my understanding of the system doesn’t suffer Works for me

if you have a solid and secure API with good docs you can generate rich custom UI clients so easily, that there’s no excuse not to have your software be native on all platforms
There’s a whole generation of web devs that are so distracted with tailwind that have missed how great CSS has gotten in the past 5 years. Modern CSS is great. Sadly you AI agent mostly spits out tailwind classes

Turns out that HTML is better than markdown for writing web pages. You don’t need MD to write posts on your personal blog.
I built my own (best and last) static site generator years ago. - A single ~200 lines Python file - 2 client-side deps: pico.css & highlight.js - Pages written in HTML (not MD) - Front matter uses TOML - It has templates, includes, blog support - Build and publish to Github pages on push
The new Macbook Neo looks great. If you need a keyboard and trackpad this better than any iPad + Keyboard combination. Also cheaper and with a real OS.
