so this is moreso on a on a per game basis. But a good way of justifying achievements on any platform were if they were a proxy for an ingame achievement system for actual unlockables. This in turn makes achievements go from "bragging rights" to an actual game relevant thing. (cont)

I was looking for an old quote and found this year old artcile where a Kotaku writer feels so stupidly about Nintendo not having achievements. "ARE THEY TOO GOOD FOR ACHIEVEMENTS??" Yes Zack, they are. For all I can criticize about nintendo, they actually design their games.
