The next one I have planned might be around 20 pages if I want to try to make the winter comiket deadline, othewise I can try for next summer's comiket instead.

Drawing a whole ass doujinshi takes months to make and costs even more to print in the US. Even in Japan, I feel a little weird about pricing my doujin at 1000 JPY, because that's still pretty expensive for a 36 ish paged doujinshi.

A strange thing about pricing doujinshi for the west is that I think a lot about how much prints are sold for in the US. If one 11x17in print = $20, and a letter sized print is around $10, then it would be strange to price my uncensored English language doujinshi for around $15.

I know it's been a while since I sold that doujinshi, but my life's taken a huge turn this past year. Hoping I can put another book out for this winter comiket.

I've been really busy working full time and other things. It's been difficult to juggle that and settling in. There's just so much to do, with learning legal things and the language.

Since moving to Japan, I have to learn how to make the meals that I grew up eating. Most Japanese people assume all Americans eat the same things, like toast and waffles. But I didn't have my first waffle until I was in my 20s and toast isn't a food to me lol.

My boss said that he knew someone who lost a good chunk of his thumb at his work, but it grew back. It's a much worse injury than mine and that's what helps me feel better about this lmao

Been unpacking and trying to improve QoL at my new place while working full time. There's a small window of time on weekdays for me to do cleaning, cooking, and handy work cuz a certain little sister is just existing. 😂

I still think about the $17.99 tuna sandwich i bought at LAX. 💀

But anyway, I'm alive. I have to adjust to concrete environment again.

My luggages all felt so heavy to me but I knew I was just extremely exhausted. After getting some rest during the flight, I really thought TSA removed something cuz they felt lighter. They're all around 50 lbs each.

So that wasnt fun. It cost $8 to use a cart at LAX. My parents also dropped me off at the opposite end of the airline I was taking, so I had to push all my luggages around for 15 minutes, but they all fell off the cart at a slope..
