In Cascade Colorado about to have the scariest immersive experience of my life. Nothing like spending the night in a snow covered cabin at 7500 feet to prepare.

Spending the night in my new apartment in LA, dreaming about creating immersive experiences. Quitting software engineering has been so good for my mental health.

I have homework to do for the first time in decades.

I need to get her out more. Dagny is such a vibe.

Surgery time! Excited and scared in equal measure. Not looking forward to spending 3 days in the hospital though.

I apologize for going quiet. Life has been very busy. I just got done with a 6 week travel extravaganza in which I played in multiple Live Reality Games, Went to Montreal to play some of the best Escape Rooms in the world. Went to Austin for work and Went to NYC for a weird pineapple experience.

Gates 20 to 22 evacuated at Austin Airport. Not sure why

Off to LA for a whole bunch of immersive haunt and haunt adjacent things, including Halloween Horror Nights, Delusion and The Willows. Hoping to squeeze the 17th door in there if I get time as well. Happy Spoopy Season everyone.

First scrimmage tonight since December! Shoulder held up well. Pretty rusty and still struggling to find my skates sometimes, but it's nice to be back.

Heading to Pennsylvania to attend Miskatonic University for the weekend. Hoping to maintain what's left of my sanity.

Spent the evening learning how to sew on suspender buttons. It's a thing I never knew I'd do, but I'm glad I learned. Now I'm ready in case belts ever disappear and we all need to go back to wearing suspenders.

I've went from caring about the run time of algorithms to running experiments on how much popsicles drip. My life sure has taken a left turn.

Tonight in NYC, I have obtained a VHS tape, a Polaroid photo and a scarf from the Russian revolution. They base video game collect-a-thons on my life.

In the last month and a half, I have gone from never having taken a theater class to having a conversation about Brecht and gender in a New York City speakeasy. Hyperfixation is a hell of a drug.

Took in both the Squid Games Experience and Death of Rasputin today. Squid Games was surprisingly fun for what it was. Death of Rasputin was really good. My favorite thing I've done so far on the trip. Thinking of finding time to go back

It's my first night in NYC. On my way to go see some late night ledgerdemain.

This week I finished Lennox Mutual, an immersive experience that took me 14 months and 30+ phone calls. It ran the gamut of making me laugh to breaking my heart, but most importantly it never stopped surprising me. Anyone can do it (and you should). All you need is your phone.

Packing to go to NYC for a week of immersive theater experiences and more. I've gotten a fire lit under me that wants me to start designing experiences of my own and what better way to start than by seeing what other people are doing in the space.

Went to my first roller derby practice since my surgery. Every muscle in my body hurts. I have found that there are muscles that I forgot I had. I forgot how hard derby was!

I am so glad for my derby training. I took a nasty fall this weekend at Adventure Camp. Ending up falling backwards off a rolling 4x4 carrying another one. Slammed directly into my chest. Thankfully I landed clean and only got the wind knocked out of me.

It's never too late to follow your dreams.

Finally got back in the tunnel after 5+ months of recovery! It's so exciting to get back, even if it was just basic belly work. Just felt good to fly again. Can't wait to do more in the tunnel and to get back in the air again.

Finally finished up Andor last night. I enjoyed it but it definitely hits uncomfortably close to real life at times.

I miss the sky. I can't wait for my shoulder to heal so I can jump again. Though I did just get clearance today to try out the wind tunnel so I'm excited to have some of the sensation of FREEFALL.

Eurovision time. It's one of my guilty pleasures. I'm just glad it's easy to watch in the states now.

I know I've talked about how much I love Lennox Mutual. I have just had my mind blown about how amazing an immersive phone show can be. I've invested 9 months into this show & it has changed my life. This is BY FAR my favorite immersive experience. It puts the Starcruiser to shame & that was amazing
