@gemma.transwrites.world

I write and I co-founded TransWrites.world / @TransWrites.world to platform trans voices around the world. I'd say we're not doing so bad at it so far.

"be kind" doesn't include people who make a living being unkind. he made this bed of people who hate him for the things he said and now he gets to rot in it. every single one of you British media class dick heads will get the same treatment unless *you* start being kind.

Maybe one day I'll get a few of these stories together and pitch it to an editor. Its heart breaking as hell knowing how many of you are out there unable to do anything because it is *objectively* worse for you to come out than it is for you to stay closeted thanks to transphobia and its gains.

Literally the reason I'm not out yet, despite wanting to transition since I knew it was possible. I need to get to a solid place in my career where it's safe before I can start.

we are absolutely FUCKED in our current position and all you assholes want to do is talk about how rowling did this or rowling said that or rowling has mold or rowling laughed about a trans person. WHO GIVES A FUCK. MY FRIENDS ARE DYING ASSHOLES. TALK ABOUT THAT INSTEAD YOU PRICKS.

the sum total of her "implicated in the files"-ness is she was invited to go to dinner in NY with him and turned him down please talk about trans people's lack of access to healthcare or all of the employment discrimination, or our lack of career prospects because bigots can fuck us any time.

there are literally billions of more helpful things you could talk about than JK Rowling. You literally dont have to talk about JK Rowling ever. Trans people are begging you to talk about us and the struggles we face - not billionaires who are doing just fine.

(no she didnt. she's a god awful bigot but she had nothing to do with the invitation which appeared in epstein's emails which as far as we all know epstein was not actually able to even use because he wasn't invited. if you're gonna talk about her please fact check before you do. or just dont)

JK Rowling had Jeffrey Epstein personally invited to a production of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child

had to go NORF out of cornwall for a bit. all the way up til somewhere around exeter someone has spray painted shit on the back of road signs like "we love carbon" "end net zero lunacy" "climate lie" and my favourite "carbon is plant food" painful that their vote is equal to mine. lmao.

there's discourse about violence & protest & not giving the bigots ammo going on & I'm not gonna pretend like I know the right answer to any of these questions. all I'm saying is if you have any plans or even vague intentions to do something violent or destructive don't post on bluesky about it?

I get served up a lot of shorts about pokemon card collectors even tho I have expressed zero personal interest in the hobby. my favourite by far is always the one weirdo who shows up like "im just collecting this one specific girafarig and nothing else. you got any?" or whatever. shout out weirdos

Places Pokémon cards can be, from most to least loved - a sleeve with 59 other cards in a deck - a phone case - a binder - loose in a kid’s backpack or pocket - a bulk box (owned by a collector/player) - in a pack MASSIVE gap - a grading slab - a bulk box (owned by a scalper) - on a TikTok stream

if even a fraction of the energy put into whining about the obviously bigoted shit bigot x, y or z has said this week was instead put into building better services and support for trans people we'd all be a lot happier. we're wasting so much potential following this abject losers around lmao.

I saw people share a screen shot of her saying some bigoted gobshite and making assumptions. What probably happened is the actual service providers told her a story and she's repeated it. Rather than Rowling specifically is listening to the calls. It's shit and I wouldn't trust Beira's at all but

Am I making this up, or did JKR claim to out someone who phoned up asking for help, saying they were a cis woman but had PCOS & because of it a full beard, and would they still help her, and she accused them of being trans and trolled them online, breaking confidentiality (if they actually existed)?

Beira's Place was set up by transphobes as an extension of their transphobia. But I probably wouldnt put this one in particular on an "anti-rights" list. not until they get bored and start campaigning bigoted-ly any way. which they might do - they didnt get into the crisis biz to help anyone lmao.

everyone except AI shills: AI is bad dont use it white guy media man: but what if i????? *6 months later* white guy media man: my reliance on AI is ruining my life and im stepping down from media until further notice

idk why your screenshot all fucked up like that but heres what it looks like for me where its clear they're adding pronouns, additional info about GI, GI, Admin Gender and Sex at Birth (observed) which is just passive voice for assigned really. while removing more simplistic "sex" and "gender".

"Sex at birth (observed)" is now a mandatory data item in the NHS core information standard (v2.0.1). It also appears (if I am reading this correctly) that gender identity and pronouns have been removed. The NHS are transphobic as fuck!!! standards.nhs.uk/published-st...

i keep calling it PR for bigotry cos that what it is they dont do journalism. they repost press releases from their fave bigots and pretend like there isnt any thing else they could do. thats what Wakefield was - its what anti-trans media is. and it'll surely be what the next moral panic is too.

they aren't oblivious. they absolutely know who the bastards are and what the outcomes of supporting those bastards will be. But also they know what will make them the most money so none of the above matters.
