For my kid's birthday party, I gave each guest a legend from a pile I had kicking around, then let them build commander decks from a dozen long boxes of old uncommons. Four hours later and they're still jamming unsleeved decks on spare playmats and I think I have a new favorite format.

106 years ago today, on May 7th, an undergraduate at Christchurch College, Oxford, drank a glass of port then left through the main gates for a walk. I've been thinking about him, & his walk, for years now. It's taken a long time for me to figure out why - why I've kept returning, near obsessed.
The takeaways from today's D&D session with @kathleen.loadingreadyrun.com are, and I paraphrase @persephiroth.bsky.social, a series of after-school PSAs: Don't drink (unknown substances), don't crash (flying) school busses, and don't walk on roses. Definitely don't do all of them together ;)
