Can’t help but scratch my head whenever I see people make ballpark estimates of dev salaries, like “oh 30 million dollars pays for 80 devs for a whole year”. Hate to break it to you but west coast salaries are an exception, and not all devs are seniors or programmers. It’s several hundred devs.

This was a fascinating exercise: find out what went wrong with creativity in the games industry. The conclusion: there are too many cowards controlling too many critical levers, and until we figure out how to put people -taste, creativity, and craft- back at the top, we're going to be stuck.

I think the worst part of selling your apartment is an unexpected private viewing when you hadn’t fixed up the place yet this is super chill no problem it’ll be a mess but please buy it for an insane amount of money thanks.
