"Made Glorious Summer" special pale from The Union. A collab between @thornbridge.bsky.social , Garrett Oliver, and Brasserie de la Senne. With Fonio grain and pilsner malt, this delivers a soft Belgian funk with a hint of green apple to finish. #BskyBeer

"Mango Jaipur" from @thornbridge.bsky.social hits the spot. The perfumed sweetness of the mango works really well with the usual Jaipur bitter finish. A great way to replenish after yesterday's shenanigans. Bonus pic of yesterday's step count. #BskyBeer

"Midwest" hoppy American wheat beer. Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic hops are right in your face. It's a lovely beer, with just a hint of a wheat beer finish. Great stuff. #BskyBeer

No beers for me Friday or Saturday, so thought I'd sample a couple from my @thornbridge.bsky.social subs box this evening. "Ster" continental lager is top quality, with a slightly appley/ citrussy finish. Glad I bought extra. #BskyBeer

"Fenland" 80 shilling Scotch ale from (you've guessed it) @8sailbrewery.bsky.social . A departure from the others from my stash, and a real stand-out. Top-notch darker beer. #BskyBeer

"Green Lane" stout from Cloudwater. They describe it as a step on the journey to perfecting a stout recipe, and to be honest it's not their best work. It's ok, but lacks a bit of body. Still better than a lot of others though... #BskyBeet

"Summit About Nothing" single hopped pale from @8sailbrewery.bsky.social . It tastes and looks a bit like a dialled-back Chouffe or similar. It's absolutely perfect for a summer beer, and at 3.4% it's ideal for a session. #BskyBeer

"Best Bitter" from @8sailbrewery.bsky.social is, yet again from these guys, a quality beer. They describe it as a "no-nonsense best bitter" which is a fair description but doesn't mean it's not interesting. Great stuff. #BskyBeer

I ran 30k this morning. I'm now broken, so after a couple of pints of Aspall's in t'pub I'm treating myself to @8sailbrewery.bsky.social "Windmill" bitter. Usual top-quality offering, at a nice sessionable abv. #BskyBeer

I have a target distance of 50k running this week. I'm at 48 and a bit so far, so am happy to crank out extra beers tonight, knowing I can chunder my way through 2k tomorrow if required 😂. "Nexus" from Cloudwater. Lots of technical stuff on the can, easier to say it's a lovely hazy IPA. #BskyBeer

My Waitrose beer excursion was inspired by finding Arbor in the wild when I popped in for a sandwich. I picked this one up yesterday, a collab with Hook Norton. To my clunky taste buds it's like a westie crossed with a more traditional English ale. Good stuff. #BskyBeer

I found myself in Waitrose yesterday in Saffron Walden. Their beer selection was superb and I will return for more (work takes me to SW a fair bit). This is an absolutely superb lager, with a lovely finish that lingers just enough. Deserving of my 46 year old stein! #BskyBeer

"Super Super Happy" IPA, a "Supercharged" brew from Cloudwater. It's all about freshness and you can taste it. Excellent again. #BskyBeer

Cloudwater x Shapeshifter "Trace the Horizon". Featuring a yeast strain called "Mango Madness" apparently, this is a bonkers pale that (unsurprisingly) slaps you with mango, ends with lime, and squeezes slightly funky NEPA in the middle. (Very nice, by the way.) #BskyBeer

Cloudwater "Cherry Sour Breeze". Definitely cherry, not particularly sour (at all). Very nice on a hot day. #BskyBeer

Next beer is "Twin Peaks" Anglo-American pale from @thornbridge.bsky.social . Reviewed before (I think). Still great. #BskyBeer
