The skin is silver and he said goodbye already. No more motor mouth raceway and finger guns. Just shallow breaths and one eye frozen. Up the morphine. No tears in my hospital. Just laughter and nose picking.
What time is it where you are? For me, it's tweet-o-clock. *Posts tweet* (This tweet brought to you by twitter(dot)com and the year 2009)
If it's sad, it's backstory. If it's whimsical it's lore.
"Don't let me miss out on being somebody." He says, declining another invitation of company. And another flurry of inspiration. And another sign that things can't go on the way they are.
Every day we teeter ever closer to the singularity and cast a blind eye to the atrocities it brings. This isn't knowledge. This is ignorance. Danger. Willful inhumanity disguised as progress.

Directories like this are more important now than ever in discovering new talent. (And I don't just say that because I'm on it) #scriptsky #filmsky #horror #newtalent
Finding a horror short script just got easier. Killer Shorts launched their Script Directory, a curated archive of 500 award-winning scripts. Perfect for filmmakers looking for the next A24-style hit, or writers studying what wins. This is a goldmine! killershorts.com/screenwritin... #scriptsky
I LIKED Spider-Man: Brand New Day. I'm not a huge MCU fan in general but I did appreciate the emotional storytelling involved. The most recent 2 Holland films have nailed those moments of catharsis and this one stepped up the action sequences too. If only they were allowed to stand alone.
Struggling to convert my anger with the world into something meaningful. It just never stops.
Carrying the spiders in my flat around to the corner where the fruit flies gather like a nurse wheeling round their patient.

Watching that film that destroys you just to see if you're still capable of feeling.
It's alright everyone I rewatched Spielberg's 'West Side Story' and everything's okay now.
I'm at the stage of breaking my ankle where the bruising has set in and my foot looks like an alien's shoe.
Don't look at the news. Don't look outside. Don't participate. Be happy.
We need to remember to show no sympathy to those who are complicit in the downfall of society. Who have thrived off of pushing hate, punishing creativity and exploiting others.
Started catching myself becoming complacent again. Wish I had someone to snap me out of it.
I can't imagine what it's like to come into a world that has bolstered individuality and homogenised it in an instant at your fingertips. The relatively slow pull back commercialisation of the internet must feel like the end of the world to them, when in reality it was always the plan.
Deeper and deeper into the throes of woe we go...
I was always going to love it as a Nicolas Cage fan but 'Spider-Noir' is delightfully earnest and a welcome respite in a world of MCU-induced irony.

Daring to share some writing again. Even if it's old writing. Maybe this will bring me back. open.substack.com/pub/georgemo...
I find it just as frustrating as you that a sandbox like Star Wars is limiting itself to the same stories onscreen over and over again.
