I will be speaking at this on Saturday, at Goldsmiths, on the problems with (political-)theological understandings of utopia. If you can't afford the ticket price, please contact the organiser. www.the-site.org.uk/events/hope-...

I wrote about the closure of CRMEP for Radical Philosophy. www.radicalphilosophy.com/commentary/f...
RP2.18: New issue out now! Sita Balani on culture wars Verónica Gago on the 'fascistisation of social reproduction' Sophie Lewis on 'fag hags' Bill Cashmore on the closure of CRMEP Dossier on the life and work of Marina Vishmidt radicalphilosophy.com
A few friends and I are running this on Saturday. Come and see me be stupid behind the decks. It'll be really good. Some low-income tickets available, DM if needed.
Italian-American radfem: eyyy woah I'm Dworkin here
Last year, a letter was written regarding the previous attempt at closure. It was signed by just about everyone you could think of in continental philosophy and critical theory. CRMEP is so important because, in a world that no longer values ideas, it has refused to play along.
My department, the fantastic CRMEP at Kingston University, is due to be closed mid-way through my PhD, as part of a slew of cuts to the Humanities and Social Sciences. We will be launching a challenge to this. Last year they tried to close us, and we fought it and won - we hope we can win again.

I went on the only good podcast to talk about techno and DJing and queer nightlife. It was really stupid and fun and I was more than a little drunk so... Enjoy?
@germainequeer.bsky.social joins us for Pub Goth Goes Techno, I get angry about the bins, and Archie teaches you how to mix your own beats. youtu.be/zzn9I_TlxwQ?...
Same dynamic as FBPE, by the way, it's why the crossover between that and TERFism is so high.
One of my best friends is from a sleepy, wealthy small town in the south-west of Germany. He said, so many of my parents’ neighbours are rich and bored, with little to complain about, and they’ve radicalised themselves at dinner parties and online. In their aimlessness, they’ve bonded over hate.
back at the best library in London Reminder that submissions are still open for abstracts for the 2025 CRMEP conference on life/death. Aimed at postgraduate students. www.kingston.ac.uk/events/item/...
Nono, they are committed to the defense of The Left against, oh I don't know what is it this time, Nietzschean-Deleuzo-Prometheans? Okay sure whatever that'll work.
For many in left media and academic circles, the most important thing about the "anti woke" "ant-idpol" moment is that it's an opportunity to sell loads of books
new writing coming soon - I am proud of this one
This dialogue has the cadence of one of Charlie and Mac's business pitches from It's Always Sunny
What THE FUCK is this? Even putting the evil of it aside for one second, on what planet, in what conceivable timeline, is this cogent messaging in 2025? Labour Comms is being run by six trainee marketers called APEX or VIVACITY, about to lose a team challenge on the Apprentice 2008.
It is just insane that there are basically no accessible mental health services in this country. No I do not want to fill out a module, that will not fix it. Jesus christ
ngl folks if Wales keep losing like this I might go insane
Amazing that people think Adorno is depressing when he gives us passages like this, which seems more full of possibility than virtually anything else I've read.
I don't have much to say about the situation for trans people in the states, except that we need to understand this as a resounding defeat for the queer politics of the last fifty years or so. Whatever we do next, it needs to be radically different from what we have done before.
Hi you may think that this account will produce a combination of posts about critical theory and perhaps also electronic music. You would be mistaken! It is, for the next six weeks, a Wales Rugby fan account. Get ready for like, one million posts about Dan Edwards
Did a set at superstore last night. Always so lovely to play that room:)
God so the NHS had lost my referral to the GIC that got done in 2021 and I had to track it down and ended up having to be referred *again* and so it looked like I would have to go on the waiting list again. But I don't! It's all fine! I might be seen soon! I can't believe it!
Interesting how it seems that on bluesky everyone seems to talk like it's twitter in 2015. Like the poetics are the same. What's up with that
Right okay I am going to mostly be on here now I think
Come along!!! This will be so fun
