Enthusiastic about how viruses interact with host cells, proteomics, paragliding, mountains in general. Austria and Sweden based happy crowd of scientists.

The Geneva #HFSPmtg2026 is incredibly inspiring. This is what true interdisciplinary science looks like. Terrific talks by colleagues across all disciplines and coffee discussions leading to exciting new research ideas on the horizon. A huge thank you to the wonderful @hfspo.bsky.social community!🙏

What does frontier science look like? 🧪 At #HFSPmtg2026, it spans everything from cell migration and photosynthesis to evolution, plant biology or ocean microbiomes. Different questions. Different approaches. One community exchanging ideas across disciplines! 💪 #HFSP #sts

Apologies for being a bit quiet lately. Now catching up. Magda Benitez from #CINVESTAV was a visiting PhD student in the lab and used some of our tools to assess DENV - host factor interactions. It was great to have her. Always fun to host such motivated, skilled and nice students from abroad! 🙏

Congratulations to the new #GfV board of directors 👏and thank you to Ulf Dittmer, Sandra Ciesek, Klaus Überla, Jörg Timm and Stephie Pfänder for the past productive period. 🙏Happy to serve on the advisory board again and that my “baby”, the connection to the #Swedish #virologist 🇸🇪is well received.
