Today is the day I use what I love (knitting) to help others. Today is the knit-a-thon and together we can help feed those in need.

I am participating in the 6th annual Knit-for-food knit-a-thon. I need your help. The annual @knitforfoodknitathon will take place on April 11th. We will knit for 12 hours in order to help put a dent in food insecurity.

I was shocked to learned about the passing of Kiki Shepard yesterday. It was just last week that Kiki (2nd from right) sent me a donation to my foundation and emailed her a “thank you”. I remember watching Kiki in all her beautiful gowns on Showtime at the Apollo.

It’s been a little over 3 months since the mastectomy and I’m finally sleeping better. I’m a side sleeper. When they said I had to sleep on my back 😩
