Reading a book about coaching offensive line, because I’m a specific type of neurodivergent. I find it endearing that Rick Trickett spends 3x the words talking about his one year as the head coach of Glenville State as he does his year of being Nick Saban’s OL coach.
I’m in New York facilitating training and they brought in pizza for lunch. Because my stomach doesn’t like it, I haven’t knowingly eaten gluten in like a decade. There is no smell better than a fresh NY pizza. It’s torture.

The formerly cool mall, where I saw many movies in the 90s and first played Tekken in the arcade, now houses the DMV. It also has a tabletop game bar (cool!), a year-round haunted house, a regular driving school, a motorcycle driving school, an acting school, and a Hot Topic.

Here’s the thing: We can recognize the need for more people in skilled trades and the utility of them, especially in a society built on mutual aid and service. It’s also a path to ownership and entrepreneurship. We can also recognize that these ghouls want more grist for the mill.

I’m a Texas fan. I also consider myself rational. Championship or bust is a hard expectation to have in modern CFB, but this is clearly a chips all in year based on roster construction and money. If Sark can’t get a good run (semifinal?) we need to have some conversations.

I really hate that 112 was signed to Bad Boy Records. The fear of a Diddy jump scare shouldn’t be a part of my life.
The more I play CFB27, the more convinced I am that it is a bad game, especially if you play on the hardest difficulty. Offense is unplayable. Offensive linemen block the wrong man so runs get blown up in the backfield often. Defensive backs are clairvoyant and jump every route. It’s dumb.
My favorite behind the scenes story about this is D’Lo Brown was there as a teen. Years later, the WWF was back in that arena and D’Lo was standing next to Ron as a member of The Nation of Domination. He told him about it in the middle of a promo and the toughest man in wrestling got choked up.
