Interesting to see an online trend toward rejecting posts as #AI slop… whether they are or not. It’s not quite critical thinking, and it may be little more than trolling, but at least there’s some skepticism before blind acceptance. That’s better than we’ve had in a long while.

An unspoken concern with #AI: How do we leverage it effectively without contributing to a Silicon Valley hegemony.

The large-scale analytics and correlation present a •far• better value proposition, but even then there are a lot of folks conflating “need” and “want” there. NLIs are next to worthless unless you’re looking to micromanage prompts because employees can’t be counted on to be properly sycophantic.

At that scale, one could always self-host the models and move the bulk of that opex to capex, but that would be heretical to the one true faith of *aaS. 🙂
