I think I've said this on here before but a very underrated silly Hualian dynamic is Hua Cheng pretending to need to be "rescued" by Xie Lian just to be cheeky and cute but then something happens and he's like "oh shit...uh Gege...I uh-actually need help...."

One of my personal favorite hurt/comfort Hualian tropes is hc waking up from a nightmare about somehow loosing xl and he's in full panic attack and xl guides hc's hands to his own chest and breathes dramatically so hc can feel his chest expanding and collapsing that he's alive and right here :3
