Addendum: The Peeps crashout about Shifter in the wake of the Genesys points update was GLORIOUS.
Giant Skyhawk@giantskyhawk.bsky.social · 3w agoI don't really post about Yugioh because I've been out for over 2 years and I'm not informed, but I saw that Dimension Shifter is finally banned. Konami's refusal to make necessary and timely changes is one of the many reasons I quit, and it is absolutely baffling that it took so long to do this.

Happy Fall time >:3 🎃🎃 (even though its like 90 degrees this week). This is a spoopy art I did of "Kitemite - Champion of Hestia" from Elestrals. #gbc #tcg #pixelart #elestrals
The Odyssey was pretty good. I think what keeps it away from being great for me is that a lot of the main characters felt like "actor is the character" and that's unfortunate. Maybe it's a me problem, but I think the cast needed to be less famous.
Got to see the Noodler today (we love Noodles) Been busy! We'll get there
Episode of The Pitt today hit very close to home. Brilliant show
Elestrals worlds was absolutely amazing. The games were CRAZY swingy, the stories were unbelievable, the energy was like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It’ll definitely stick with ne for the rest of my life. Couldn’t be happier to see what the future holds.

I have been keeping up with my pushups! Haven't been posting because things have been busy, but I'll do an update with totals tomorrow.
Giant Skyhawk@giantskyhawk.bsky.social · 8mo agoDay 10! 10-10-10-10-10. Really wanted 50 today and we got there, but I might pay for it tomorrow! Running total: 362 Card today is Divine Healing! I think I've finally cooked up a deck that can justify this card, been fun to mess around with.
Doing a double loss for matches that go to time is good policy, but immediately ending a match with no additional player agency after the moment time gets called is unbelievably cringe. Seems miserable for players and for viewers.
