If you're as excited as I am for Mina the Hollower, go play Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo immediately. Incredible art, clever puzzles, GBA aesthetic, and the 2D Zelda-like gameplay is better than most 2D Zelda games. Also, play more indie games in general. They're better than AAA I promise 😁

Been practicing some prop dev by making an old 1930s Voigtlander Avus camera. This is the high-poly WIP, so still plenty of work to do, but I'm loving how it's turning out so far. The eventual plan is to rig the model so it functions exactly like the vintage camera. 📷

I don't think enough people appreciated the restraint I showed when I wrote the theme story and script for AWU 2025 inspired by One Piece/Pirates of the Caribbean, introduced a 2 part macguffin called the Two Pieces and never once made a 2 piece swimsuit joke or put Arc in a bikini.

Some days I really wanna draw/post gratuitous butt (and other anatomies), but then I remember I have a public image to uphold and a digital footprint. But then I'm like... okay? And? Do it, coward. But then I hesitate cuz like... what would the shareholders think??? (I don't have shareholders)

Sat down for 2 seconds with a drink, now I will not be getting anything done for the rest of the day. Game dev can wait. Cat needs cuddles.

Artist friends! I've been working on getting back into drawing and I've realized I've never been satisfied with how I color/render. I've spent the past few years in 3D software, now jumping back into 2D is rough. What are some resources you'd recommend to help learn better coloring and lighting? :3
