Just a little ghost who games~ | She/Her Reliably on Twitch: twitch.tv/gingerlii

I don't know how to explain to the people who pop up when creatives complain about "AI" to say there are legit uses for it just how much they sound like someone saying "Well actually fire is used to make bread" when people are talking about an organized arson ring burning down their fucking houses

Older lady peeped the rainbow flag on my bike, asked in a thick Russian accent “It’s your Pride?” She told me her youngest grandchild is “not she berry or he berry but no berry.” I said “Nonbinary?” She got so excited. Yes! Yes! And “Is a secret, but they are my“ *looks around, whispers* “favorite.”

Twitch seems to be turning on AI-generated in-stream summaries by default, as a slow rollout (you might not have it *yet*, likely just on larger channels first) Once Twitch activates it on your channel, you can disable it by going to Creator Dashboard > Settings > Stream > In-stream Summary

From a game-design standpoint I loved playing The Stillness of the Wind. The mechanics of the game loop quietly support an engrossing ambiance - the slow pace of Alma moving about her farm gives time to think and worry, time passing as you read letters and books... a fantastic play 💛

“This game was targeted for harassment because it involved this person, or that person” No. Any game release that achieves any broad level of attention now will attract reactionary commentators and their harassment, because generating hatred is how they make their money. It’ll never be enough.

To celebrate the 2 year anniversary of No Rest for the Wicked (currently on sale!) I'll be looking for hidden challenges and discussing the latest updates on Twitch! With luck I might even have a game key to give away later 😱 Let's see if I can find secrets in Marin Woods! www.twitch.tv/gingerlii

An image of the entrance to Marin Woods from the video game 'No Rest for the Wicked' - it is a birch forest with golden light coming through the treetops.

Halfway through my evaluation I was told, verbatim: "Spoiler alert: I'm going to be diagnosing you with ADHD, but we do have several more questions that we have to get through just to make absolutely sure there's not another explanation."

Have you been wanting No Rest for the Wicked since the new community patch, but still holding back? You may be in luck! @lightlaser.bsky.social and I will be taking the co-op mode for a spin and will have game keys to give away! Come check it out on Tuesday Feb 3rd at 7PM Central! 📣

A screenshot from a No Rest for the Wicked cinematic: Odessa, clad in armor and with blood at the corner of her mouth, is being held captive by two masked knights of the Inquisition - one holding each arm, they march her forward.

I keep rewriting this trying to properly express the gratitude I feel for people showing up to support a great cause - we already blew past my fundraising goal on the first of three stream days. I don't know that I can express how much it means verbally without choking up. You guys are the best 🧡

Minnesota has always been a place made more wonderful by the immigrants and refugees it welcomes. Studying and laughing with my Somali classmates, chatting in grocery store lines with my Somali neighbors, life is more rich and wonderful with them in it and no outsider is going to tell me different.
