I know a fair few people that work or have worked for Arsenal FC. Every single one of them referred to him as Mr Friar. He was universally respected. RIP Mr Friar.
Very sad news. Nobody will ever match his Arsenal tenure...a quite extraordinary life of service to the club. RIP.

Can't believe I forgot the most important Arsenal birthday yesterday: The Arsenal FC. 140 years ago yesterday the members of the Dial Square Cricket Club discussed and agreed to form a football team.
No one knows what the future holds, but I’m looking forward to two decades of being furious with England for returning Max Dowman with a “niggle”.
Actually think a lot of our play today has been better than in previous games, but this is a sucker punch.
