This is the only truth. People talk about Mamdani but the average muslim is conservative as an evangelical christian. Mamdani is not the average muslim. I don't undertand why people don't accept reality, corbyn is pandering at muslims votes so his party will not be too much lgbt friendly...

That was a bad move of the mayor though. The mayor shouldn't have banned the screening of the movie anyway. Never never give up to threats of a bunch of thugs or bullies whether they are Islamists or far right etc... it's a sign of weakness of the state and a great Ad for Marine Le Pen.

Water is wet. There are hundreds of thousands of homophobic aggressive people out there. Even in most gay friendly society. Usually men are the most aggressive ones so it's nothing surprising that the group who most hides and don't do PDA are gay men compared to lesbian or bisexuals

well personally i know same sex couple who are friends of mine that would never holding hands in Ilford, some ares of Newham, Tower Hamlets and Brent...and that just talking about London. Sexual freedom is one of the things that separate most the west from other parts of the world

But there are very definitely worries, even in more liberal groups, that the pace/scale of immigration and lack of integration expectations undermines cohesion/identity/community.
