Yk, I was gonna make a google forum of that is an interest check for a GissyEva inspired project event (Had the names "Slice of Gissy FanFes" or "Eva Charat FanFes" in mind.) But after thinking about it a lil', I am probably going to leave this idea with friends and fellow fanime peeps. ^^;
Seeing what I have seen, I do feel some people who kinda constantly venting in some streamers' chats probably needs like a friend group discord server with a vent channel to safely talking about that the shit they're in. I sometimes see chatters that sometimes has walls and walls of text of venting

30 minutes after uploading my latest video "Okie dokie, seems that I'm only getting a couple of views, which is typical; nothing out of the ordinary. The next day in the morning. "OMG, how am I doing numbers???? Is it because of the subject of the video???"
So, this is like, the second time I redesign a character that has yet to make an appearance. I wasn't all too happy with their first design for Usually I'm a stubborn ass & stick with what I got when it comes to character designs but very rarely, times like this is different, I say!! 0u0

So, a bit of an update: the cheaper Android tablet as arrive. Bad news is that it doesn't wanna work with SCRCPY (or rather, it's not giving me the pop-up that is like "Allow USB debugging"). So my main part of the plan failed. ;w; Buuut good news is that it does have a regular headphone input.
GissyEva@gissyeva.bsky.social · 2w agoI have just bought a cheaper Android tablet for watching Twitch Streams. & by cheap, I mean it's around $45 (USD) Which doesn't sound that cheap to someone from the outside looking in but compare to my Galaxy Tablet, it is a whole bargain lol & really, I'm not gonna install other apps on it. ^^;

So, tbh, I was tilted about something that kiiinda annoyed tf outta me around an hour earlier but after talking with a friend about that (as well as some other things), I feel more normal(ish) again and I can now vibe for the rest of the night!

So, I have been using SCRCPY to share what I have been arting to my friends initially. (which i still do, picked it back up for it recently) But i have been using for watching Twitch streams from my Galaxy cuz it is so grating that more laptop stops cooperating with Twitch.
Okay so, I found another thing I like about Olive Video Editor over Kdenlive and that is is the fact that you use the transform tool to make the character do a like bounce effect easiler. More to say in this thread but here is a example using some old art, looool
GissyEva@gissyeva.bsky.social · 2mo agoTbh, until Olive update, I'd recommend only using it for the specific purpose I'd would use it for (Using Ripple Distortion, mess around with the settings for subtlety, and then export as a transparent PNG sequences,) and use Kdenlive for everything else. (Maybe Davinci Resolve for fancy VFX?)

On a lighter (and sillier note), seems that the amount of defenses on Art Fight is starting to slow down a bit and all I can say is: OMG, finally, I got some room to breathe, HOLY-
Also, a bit of context: The reason why I made this decision is because I'm kiinda getting a lil' tired of my extended family asking my mom why i haven't been to much family events recently and not answering due to my fears in regards to closing my current laptop not being validated. :'/
