In Italy I lived in a house with routinely 35 degrees inside for weeks in a row. My tip: take showers and put your clothes on without drying yourself, then when your hair is dry make it wet again under the sink, continuously. Generally, lie on the floor while wet and hate the whole thing.

As for all the stuff in the *, I had whooping cough (pertussis) as a child as that vaccine wasn't routine ...it's not just cough. A several months ordeal, very very much not recommend.

Tuner is good: funny, cute characters, and uniquely centring hyperacusis. And boy will you hear some sounds! Metallic, piercing, overwhelming sounds - besides much piano. I liked this, it helps get a sense of a condition which spellcheck still doesn't recognise. (1) #perception #senses #hyperacusis

For a good 30 seconds I thought the method was looking at very kawaii tomatoes trying to silently communicate with you. I might try that one.

I can't explain the sheer happiness of finding out that the 24-hour campus library has airconditioning and iced coffee.
Reminded of the first time I tried cold brew and I thought I was going to die.

Slowly watching the recordings of the World Team Table Tennis Championships, just about at the quarter finals. On campus this week students were good at not spoilering...except they all came to practice with a team China jersey 😬
You will have seen these news. This is so sad as it's a great place to work and study at. Lucky to be sheltered from all this, but the atmosphere is grim here.
