Depicting Jewish people with horns is a centuries-old, dehumanizing, antisemitic trope. Democratic Gov nominee Phil Weiser is outspoken about his mother’s birth in a Nazi concentration camp, his family members killed in the Holocaust, and the threat posed by antisemitism today.

The campaign finance expert for the Independence Institute, which is often aligned with Colorado Republicans, says Victor Marx's claim he's funneling unlimited contributions through a merch shop "requires some kind of explanation." A formal complaint was filed today.

I'm having a bit of fun semi-trolling Victor Marx supporters on a Victor Marx FB group in Colorado. They seem quite demoralized by the basic facts about recent state-wide elections for GOP candidates in Colorado. The Marx campaign is laser focused on selling overpriced campaign merchandise though.

In my experience, most EV haters have never even ridden in an EV, much less driven or owned one. Every first-time EV owner that I know has loved their EV, in line with those JD Power survey results.

I was watching a Victor Marx video where he tells a story from childhood when he was "about ten years old". It was about his stepfather being abusive one night. Victor tells his mom, "We need a Rambo Jesus to save us". VM was born in 1965 and would have been 10 in 1975. Rambo came out in 1982.

My Ecoflow Stream Ultra, which took some doing to get... I don't have any solar panels connected to it yet, but I do have it programmed to charge its 1.92 kWh battery from the grid during the day, and then discharge it during our peak demand grid rate.

This is relatively tame example of the religious fundamentalist imagery and messaging coming from the Victor Marx fanatics on social media. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Many of these folks want to see "The Handmaid's Tale" happen in real life.

The Colorado GOP keeps losing state-wide elections by increasingly wider margins, and their response is nominating even less qualified and more extreme candidates. On top of that, add bitter infighting and disarray. This is what they deserve!

Yet another national media article on the Colorado Gov’s race today. Can’t imagine these change votes in Colorado but they do make it uncomfy for the local media outlets that are ignoring or sanewashing some of Marx’s wilder claims.
